Useful Information for Visiting Brackley Baptist Church the first time |
||
|---|---|---|
| How do I get there? | The Church complex is situated in its own extensive grounds at the end of Waynflete Close. For maps. For searching GPS or other direction finding systems the Postcode is NN13 6AE. | |
| Where do I Park? | There's no problem about Parking. You park in the front or at the rear of the Church complex. Lots of free parking on-site. | |
| What
time do I need to be there?
|
Services are at 11.00am
on Sunday mornings. PACE is at 9.45am & Youth also meet at 6.00pm & 7.30pm.
The Main Entrance leads you into the Fellowship Hall (that's the same size as the Sanctuary) where coffee is served from 10.30am to 10.50am. The entrance to the Sanctuary is off the Fellowship Hall, which is at the front of the Sanctuary - so be warned, people can see if you are late!!! So, we would recommend that you take your seats by 10.55am at the latest on a Sunday Morning. We would encourage you to attend PACE at 9.45am or arrive in time for coffee at 10.30am in the morning. |
|
| What are the seats like? | You've got a choice of seating. There are padded chairs or there are padded pews. People have their own preferences. | |
| What is the music like? | The main instruments are the Piano,
Drums, Trumpet. Cello, and Voices. The musicians give a clear lead but are not so loud you
cannot sing along. The music is there to help you sing praises to God and
the congregational singing is very good.
The words to the songs are projected via a rear-projection system giving vivid colours and contrasts even in bright sunlight. |
|
| How long do the Services last? | About an hour and a quarter (11.00am-12.15pm) | |
| What's the coffee like? | In the Morning, fresh percolated coffee is served between PACE (our All-age Sunday School) and the Worship Service, as well as afterwards. | |
| What about the children? | Our main Bible teaching
programme is from 9.45am to 10.30am on Sunday mornings. There are groups
for children, young people, and adults.
During the Morning Service the children join us for the first half and then the Preschoolers go to a Group and those who are from 5 years (Year 1) up to 10 or 11 years (Year 6) leave for their own Children's Worship experience. The Young People aged 11 and over (Year 7 and up) stay for the whole Worship experience with the adults. The Young People also meet at 6.00pm and then have a Bible Study at 7.30pm on Sunday evenings. There are also Children's Ministries during the week. |
|
| What about Wheelchair users? | There is designated parking for Wheelchair users and access is easy, even from the car park onto the pavement. Toilet facilities are situated at the rear of the Sanctuary. | |
| What about those who are hard of hearing? | There is a good PA system operated by a competent sound engineer. There is also a loop system for those who use hearing aids. | |
| What if we cannot attend on Sunday Mornings? | There are
Life Groups during the week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings and
on Wednesday afternoon.
The Worship Service is relayed live to the Nursery & the Cry Room and recorded onto DVD. |
