The YMCA in Brackley 

 

A local partnership that is part of the larger

Northamptonshire YMCA network

The YMCA was invited to Brackley by the Churches in Brackley to partner with other youth work providers to ensure a sustainable long-term youth work provision for the young people of the town and surrounding villages.

AIso partnership with Brackley YMCA...

 

  • The Zone (7 - 9pm Tuesdays @ Methodist Church) for 11 to 16 year olds.

The Zone is open every Tuesday during school term at Brackley Methodist Church 7pm till 9pm, for teenagers aged 11 to 16, entrance is free, they can play pool, table tennis, table soccer, Playstation 1 & 2 or Nintendo Wii, listen to music or just chill, no charge is made for use of any of the activities, we also can now offer film nights etc with new AV system at church, there is a small snack bar for drinks, sweets etc. and other activities are run during summer terms under the zone umbrella.

 

  • The Cool Box (7 - 9pm 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month @ St Peter's Hall)

A place where youngsters can hang out together in a safe and warm place.

 

  • The 18-24 Youth Cafe (8 - 10pm  Tuesdays @ Baptist Church Centre) for young adults.

The 18-24 Youth cafe is a place for older young people and young adults to hang out with others in an informal cafe style environment. There are hot snacks available for a nominal charge.
